Why HyperSat

The use of COTS + technology

The project is based on cheap and available COTS components that have been selected for radiation resistance and history of use on other satellites. Critical platform components (e.g. reaction wheels, engine) purchased from reliable suppliers.

ECSS Compliance

Platform project carried out in accordance with selected ECSS standards. Standards were chosen more stringent than for the CubeSat mission. Design reviews are carried out in accordance with ESA terminology with the involvement of independent experts.

Redundancy

The modularity of the platform and the use of SpaceVPX allows you to choose the degree of redundancy depending on the requirements of the mission.

Adaptation of the SpaceVPX standard to the needs of the microsatellite

  • 3U / 6U hybrid backplane
  • SpaceUM module integrated with power supply and MPPT controller
  • The on-board computer acts as the controller of the SpaceVPX system
  • Multiple 3U / 6U slots available for communication, orientation and instrument

Głównymi zaletami platformy będzie jej modularność i powtarzalność. Klienci będą mogli dowolnie konfigurować satelitę korzystając z gotowych modułów. Creotech Instruments jest jedyną firmą w Polsce dysponującą procesami technologicznymi i linią produkcyjną, certyfikowanymi do produkcji elektroniki przeznaczonej do zastosowań w przestrzeni kosmicznej przez Europejską Agencję Kosmiczną ESA.
